This afternoon I sent out the following email to the YLCF's email list, which I wanted to share with you. (Click here to read the entire message or to subscribe to the email updates.)
It's been a while, hasn't it? I hope y'all have had a year as full and delightful as mine! I have been able to spend precious time with family, friends, and special loved ones, in addition to finishing my job at our state capitol. And now I find myself at home, catching up on all the things I haven't gotten done--like the YLCF website. As I read through your emails, I was once again reminded of why I began this ministry: to encourage others. And I was humbled to realize how the Lord has been able to use this website to touch so many lives.
However, the time has come when I must pass on the ministry of the Young Ladies Christian Fellowship to others. My life is becoming more delightfully full every day: helping my family prepare to build a house, housework & cooking, and spending time with the man I love (yes, I'm being courted :)). So I'm praying for someone to step in and take over ylcf.org. Please pray with me that the Lord will provide.
But I won't say goodbye yet. I have so enjoyed the privilege of getting to know so many of you. Even though I can't answer all your emails, I do read every one. And I look forward to staying in touch.
Meanwhile, be sure to frequent the Heartbeat Blog--it's the best way to keep up with Natalie and I.
Wishing you God's richest blessings...
