American School of Correspondence:
High School Education through Distance Learning
a review by Jennifer Straw
As a homeschooling eigth grader looking for a way to get an accredited high school diploma, I was very pleased when we discovered the American School of Correspondence website. Not only has American School been around for over 100 years, but it is better priced than other accredited distance high school courses.
We found American School of Correspondence one and a half years ago, and now I am looking toward graduation in the spring. Two years for an acredited high school diploma? Yes! And no, I am not spending all my free time on schooling. I spend from 6 to 8 hours a week on school, plus I took off all of June, July, and August this last year.
The American School of Correspondence program gives you the essentials, but does not burden you with a lot of extra curriculm. (I have done some extra studies on my own, but that is not required.) I strongly recommend the American School as a high school course. I have had almost perfect service from them. And the big bonus is that my busy mother does not have to correct any of my school work!
