Teenagers: Let Your Light Shine For Jesus!

I am weary of always hearing negative things about teenage girls! Whenever I hear them discussed, words are used in referring to them that have a negative connotation. Even their mothers talk about them that way! Once I even saw a pattern for a cross stitch project that said, "Hire a teenager while they still know everything"! Well, I guess we can't change the way people think and talk about other teenage girls, but you know what? We can change the way people think and talk about us!

First of all, we don't want to leave the impression of a self-engrossed, know-it-all, boy-crazy, make-up decorated, teenage girl. Instead, we want to leave the impression of a gentle, humble, patient, friendly, kind, modest, polite, loving teenage girl, ornamented with a meek and quiet spirit. When we leave the room, we don't want people to raise their eyebrows and make some comment about us being a "typical teenage girl." Instead, we want people to notice how kind and polite we were.

Besides, who would want to become a Christian when it is impossible to tell so-called "Christian" teenagers from the non-Christian teenagers? So, let's try to act like Jesus would and not like the typical teenage girl!
